Winds of Change
Dearest Friends and Family,September 18, 2006- I am scheduled to return to Latvia. It has been a wonderful couple of months at home, visiting my family. We had such a great time in Glacier National Park this summer. Each year we go camping there, we enjoy fishing, hiking, canoeing, and so much more about being together in this incredible place! The most suprising news I have to tell you all is that I'm engaged!! This past year I had the chance of getting to know the youth leader of the church I serve at. . .And God has led us now to this amazing next step. His name is Janis, or John in English. Won't you pray for us as we consider the many questions involved?! I will look forward to introducing him more to all of you in the weeks and months ahead. As I head back to Latvia I am full of excitment and fears. I will continue working through the Trinity Baptist Church of Ogre. Most likely I will be holding some English classes, as I did last fall, as well as working with the youth. However, I may also start working at an English Language Center- to start learning what it will be like to be more independatly supported in Latvia. Please pray that God would provide the exact opportunities of what he would have me doing in Latvia. There are so many opportunities in Latvia, and I want to be sure I get invovled in the right places.God has been so good in providing for my daily needs as I head back to Latvia. Thank you so much for the amazing support team you have been the past year. Without all of you behind me, I could never had served in Latvia! May God bless each of you abundantly!Elizabeth
