October 23, 2006-What time can't changeI love fall, and the golden leaves. I am so glad that God didn't just let the leaves fall to the ground green. I am so glad that he planned for the leaves to brighten the world by turning such glorious shades. Aren't you? Isn't it great that no matter what is happening in our world, that each fall the leaves still change?!I have a job now. I will be teaching English at a English Center in Riga, it is only a couple of days a week. I have one class here a week in Ogre too, in addition to some private students. In regards to wedding plans, they continue to move forwards. The date is now set for December 22, 2006. You are all invited to come, and of course will be receiving further information in the near future. Because of all this planning, life has become rather hectic. Pray that I will be able to relax and trust God and not try to figure everything out all in one day:)

We had a fun youth party the other day with our youth, we played some games and were able to get to know each other a little bit better by that. The couple pictured here help with our youth, his name is Dainis and he leads one of the youth Bible studies. His wife's name is Liene, and she has a beautiful voice. She is our main soloist in our ensemble. It is great to have them working with the youth this year! It is really exciting that in the past weeks we have been averaging about 20 youth, and have split the group so that there can be a more personal atmosphere. Thank you for every prayer and for all your encouragement. Please pray that I will know the things that God wants me to be involved in at this time- I have a tendency to accept too many responsibilities and then can't do any of them as well as I would like.
