I feel as if God has turned his face again towards me and smiled. As if finally things are going to start going better.
Yesterday evening our pediatrician paid us a visit at home to see the kids. FINALLY! She had been away, and her first day back was very busy and she couldn't come. I was relieved to finally have the kids examined. But I nearly cried for joy when she offered to give Janis a sick leave so he could stay home and help us get well. In Latvia you can do that, but Janis didn't know that the kid's doctor was the one to give this sort of sick leave. So until Monday Janis is free, and home to help me with the kids and help us get better.
Daniel is still going through his crying stage, but the doctor said this can be because he is still tired after having been sick. It is also very draining and hard to have had a high fever for 5 days, he needs time to become normal again. This is a relief to hear, but he is still hard to bear at times. I hope this crying phase passes soon.
Amelija has a nasty cough and rattling in both lungs. She will be examined again tomorrow, and might possibly get a chest x-ray. Keep praying!
Thanks!
