Not long ago I started really wanting to eat sushi. I had made it once before and thought it a rather expensive luxury. But after seeing how much it costs to eat sushi out, then I realized making it at home is much cheaper. I decided to give it a whiz. I don't make anything fancy, and have much to learn in the art of sushi making.
But the funniest thing to me is how much Daniel loves eating sushi. Since Janis (my husband) doesn't like it then I make it when I know he won't be home.
The first time I made it it was a complete flop as it wouldn't stick together. The second time I had done some research and realized one of my problems about the rice. I was so thrilled when it turned out I believe I must have clapped with delight. Now every time we make sushi Daniel claps when it is finished, cute!
Do you make sushi? Do you have any good recipes? I'd love to get your tips.
I've never had sushi, but I would like to try it. I never used to even like the idea because I was under the (false) impression that all sushi was made of raw fish, and that was just too gross to even think about, but now that I know what it really is I would like to try it sometime.
