It has been nearly 10 years since I graduated from college. That fact makes me feel almost old. I had always hoped that I would be able to attend a reunion after 10 years had passed and see old college friends and have we have all changed and the kids we have.
However, knowing it would be highly unlikely to make another visit to the States so soon I decided that we should try to at least plan a little old roommate get together. The roomies were invited and the dates planned.
In the end old 3 of us were in attendance. But we had a fabulous time!
Our time together started out with a lovely dinner out with The Slater Family - Cori, Lance and their four kids. The Siler Family- Josie and her parents and brother. And our family.
The Slaters were staying at a nice hotel with a pool. So after dinner all the kids went swimming and we girls got to do a little visiting. Needless to say 4 boys and a pool is a noisy place so with a little nudging from my husband we decided we girls would put the kids to bed and then go out and hang out together.

Day 2 of our visit. The kids played in the gym for a couple hours. Then we all went out for lunch. Our little reunion was short and sweet- but so much fun!
Our evening out we girls decided to go to to Perkins since it was open late. It was very amusing to the 3 of us that we were going there since that was what college students used to do to hang out. And I never use to go with them- I always stayed on campus.
We sat at Perkins until about 1 A.M. catching up on the last 10 years and laughing about old memories gone by. It was so much fun to feel so young again and recall the lives we lived as 18 year olds. Oh the joys of college days!
Thanks ladies for this fun time together!

That was so much fun!!!
