I invited friends from different periods and stages of my life. (Those who are this side of the ocean that is)
I have been pondering a lot on turning 30, and realized that although I feel that is old in one regards, that I do not feel old. I decided it seems like an important age, and because of this I wanted to do something important for my friends, to express my thankfulness for them.
I had decided to write each of them a note telling them how much their friendship means to me. I realized that two of these friends I have known since I was 15, thus half of my life. Wow!
I bought white roses for my friends and gave a little speech at the end telling them how much they mean to me. I got really emotional, that surprised me.
I got some great gifts, I am so blessed!
How thankful I am for my dear friends here. I wish I could be celebrating the rest of my friends too.
