At Grandma's House

After our first week of adjusting to the time change we headed to MN to see my Grandma and start preparing for the big Thanksgiving we were to have.

Wednesday I baked pies and cakes all day and grandma made chili for our family chili cook off. It was so fun to see where my aunt now lives and get to reconnect the eve of Thanksgiving.

Of course we had to get some homework in amidst the visiting and baking and grandma had some fun folding little tables which the kids loved using for their studies.

The day after Thanksgiving we had Christmas at Grandma's complete with stockings and a white elephant gift exchange. Poor Joy had her gift snatched several times because everyone (every lady) wanted the coffee scrub. I was pleased to have ended up with one of them :)

It was fun seeing family, I can't even express my joy in getting to be with cousins and relive some of my childhood of big  Thanksgivings!
