Angels and Biting

Today Daniel was talking about Jesus being nailed to the cross. He came and asked me why Jesus was nailed on the cross.

I sat down with him and explained how our hearts are black with sin and that we do naughty things and Jesus wants to make us clean- and white as snow. (This was a longer conversation but this is the shortened version)

In the end of our conversation I asked him if loved Jesus and wanted to ask Him to make his heart clean. He did want to and he repeated a prayer of salvation after me. (He rarely wants to pray outloud so this was a doubly special moment).

I was crying tears of joy as my boy prayed. I told him I was crying because I was happy.

Later he came to me and said he wanted to pray again so that Mama could cry.

A bit later our little darlings were at it again- I turned around to see Daniel biting Amelija in the arm and her screaming. Oh DEAR! I went and separated them and punished them and had them make up. As it was she had bit him first and he copied. My kids NEVER bite, I was astonished.

We have had quite an emotional rollercoaster around here today. But I guess that is life with 3 kids.

Thankfully Karlis Benjamins in our happy one- always happy, cheerful and full of smiles and giggles.

Thank God for the work he is doing in Daniel's life. How I pray he will be a man of God's heart.

And my darling girl- a true daughter of the King.
