Today we went to a wedding- it was on the beach. I had never been to a wedding on the beach. I loved the idea. But the day was overcast and it was cold and windy-but still fun.
We were stunned when we went back to our car to find that Janis had left the car keys in the door when he locked it in a hurry. Wow, is God ever watching over us! Thank God that no one drove off with our car.
Yesterday I was driving through the forest, on a questionable, perhaps non-exist road. I was shocked when I hit a tree with the side of the car. (I till don't know how I managed that)But thankfully my husband took the dent without an explosion. (My husband never explodes anyway- he is one of the most calm people I have ever met). Thank you God for watching over us and that nothing more serious happened.
This evening at the reception Daniel kept slipping away- there was a lake near by and at one point we could not find him. SCARY- he had gone a little beyond sight near the lake- there was a playground there. Not a good place for a playground in my opinion. After that we kept an even closer eye on him- we are not the kind of parents that let our kids wander so it was a surprise when he disappeared so fast- he is getting to be a fast little guy. Thank God for keeping him safe and out of the water!
Thank God that he is watching over us.
