The Birthday Girl

The Monday after Palm Sunday Grandma arrived. Then we got to start celebrating Amelija's birthday. We made her a sponge cake with strawberries and whipped cream. YUMMY! She loved it too :)
She got a cute, soft doll for Grandma and Grandpa. And Great Grandma gave her a beautiful quilt.
Unfortantely I don't have any photos from her birthday morning and the opening of the gifts- the camera had an error. BOO HOO :(
Then we headed to Harlan and ate out at Pizza Hut. We were to have an open house sort of thing at the coffee shop so that people we knew could come and see us. It was fun to hang out there for the afternoon and chill with some old friends.
In the evening we had dinner with Rachel's in-laws. They have a lovely home and gave us a fantastic dinner and a darling cake for my baby girl.
I can't believe she is already one!

Just days after her birthday she finally learned to crawl! Now she is very fast.
She has also learned how to bark like a dog when asked about doggies.
She loves green beans (which she had for the first time in America)
Grandma has her  hooked on drinking cold milk from a bottle :)
My cutie pie!
