Countdown. . .

Well we have reached the 30 week mark and soon we will have only single digits left for our countdown to our big day. I feel rather scared at times about the fact that our lives are going to so completely change in just about 10 weeks. It is exciting in many ways. You can see in the picture our baby buggy which we got used from Sweden. We are VERY excited about it as this brand is especially good quality and in Latvia they are VERY expensive. about $1000-$1200! We were able to get a used one for much less from Sweden, which some friends picked out for us. God is providing all the needed things for our baby and we are excited about that.
As far as work goes tomorrow I will go submit my official documents to start my maternity leave. In Latvia the government starts paying women to stay home at 30 weeks, it will be 80% of my normal monthly salary. Then when the baby is born the government pays for me to stay at home for a year and half, and my workplace must have a job available for me upon my return. It is very convenient to have babies in Latvia with all the good care! This is because the population is on the decline. . .
