As this old year comes to an end I can conclude.
God has been good, so very good.
In the last month I have seen such progress in the reading of my 5 year old. His search for God too has amazed me. He has begun praying- on his own. He also made a birthday card for Jesus, and since he understand that we don't know we will go to heaven he has given me strict instructions to take care of this card until we do go there.
This year has ended with a very full month, which seems a wonderful final chapter in a grand old year.
The month began with us taking lots of family photos to try and get a good one for the cards.
This month I made tons of cookies and candies to share with those in the hospital, friends, neighbors and family.
We had one good snow, and the kids loved playing in it.
We had fun making, preparing and sending gifts to family far away.
Daniel and Amelija painted their first scarves.
Amelija had her first hair cut and seemed to love getting pampered a bit.
Karl lost his beloved pacifier which finally got him weaned from it. Yay!
We had a special time preparing for Christmas each day with our advent calendar and all the little things we had to do to get ready. This Christmas was very special celebrating with our kids as they start to understand more.
Janis and I decided to make a special gift for Amelija this Christmas and did our first project of this sort. We made this darling little kitchen for our girl for Christmas. She loves it!
We wish you a wonderful New Year. Walk with Jesus. Make time for Him in your lives. We love you!
