Sometimes in being busy we fail to see the little things that bring delight and joy. Things for which to rejoice and be thankful.
I am thankful for how well Daniel is learning two languages- I am so proud of him when uses grammatically correct English (as a teacher I'm listening) and know that these same forms are hard for my students.
I am thankful for big, dark brown eyes- my girlie has the prettiest eyes.
I am thankful that even when naughty and reprimanded my little girl just puts out her lower lip as far as can be and takes her punishment. I feel like I am looking at a picture of my heart. When a cross word is spoken to me I too pout-in my heart.
Thankful for sunshine and cookies. My kids LOVE rolling and cutting cookies.
Thankful for the fact that I can paint daily and that I sold a scarf last week.
There are so many more reasons to be thankful. . . .
