We are having our last days of visiting with my parents in Montana. It has been great to get to see everyone of my siblings, though we weren't all together at the same time.
We have delighted together in watching Daniel's joy over little things, and the happy moments he has. He has adjusted well to all the coming and going of his aunts, two uncles and two little cousins. He has connected well with Grandma and Grandpa and Janis and I have had some fun outings together alone.
Today Daniel found an empty peppermint patty container. He started carrying it around and smelling it and saying, "aaaaahh." It was very amusing how much delight he took in just smelling the smell of chocolate and peppermint. He has never had chocolate!
Grandma has enjoyed spoiling him and giving him bottles. At home he had graduated from bottles and didn't seem to be interested in them. . . Oh well, he can be babied by grandma for a bit, since next time he sees her will be who knows when.
We leave for home Wednesday. Prayers are appreciated as flying with a toddler is difficult!
