Highlights from our Trip

Because we did so much, and I didn't take the time to keep up with writing about our trip, here are some of the things that stand out in my mind from our time in America. I will elaborate on some of them in future posts (I hope I get around to that).

  • Daniel tasting ice-cream for the first time.
  • Shopping for fabric with my Mom, and having her entertain him while I looked :)
  • Janis skiing in REAL mountains.
  • Eating my craved for foods.
  • Seeing each of my siblings.
  • Going to the hot springs with Janis.
  • Seeing where my parents live and minister.
  • Playing games with my family, especially Saboteur with Grandma (she was hilarious).
  • Watching Daniel interact with my family.
  • Going to the library and checking out a huge pile of books. (They were all in English)
  • Grocery stores.
  • Dates with Janis, even just the time we got carried away in the toy department looking for a toy for Daniel for the airplane ride. We pushed a lot of buttons :)
  • Christmas.
  • Eating out.
  • American Ice-cream
  • Sermons in English (My Dad's sermons)
  • Shopping for used, CHEAP maternity clothes.
  • Eating my Mom's cooking.
  • Watching movies wiht my sister.
  • The beauty of the mountains around where my parents live.
And so much more.
