It has been a very long time since I have written anything about what is happening in our lives. This has been due to the fact that we have been without a computer two months. But now the computer has been returned, though only until the new one replaces it. (From Janis's work place).
We are glad to "return" to civilization and be able to be in contact with friends and family. But having breaken the habit of being online I hope to be able to remain at a distance and not become too engrossed with modern techonology.
As you can see my tummy is beginning to grow, this was taken two weeks ago, so it has grown even more since then. The baby's movements are becoming more noticable and the upcoming arrival of our baby seems more real. Though I must admit there are many moments when it still feels like a joke, but then I remember why else would I be getting so fat:)
Janis has been working on the baby room, now the wallpaper is hung, the floor is finished and all the little details need to be done and it will be ready. We are deciding on the necessities for the baby, and already "ordering" lots of little clothes for my mom to bring from America. Baby stuff is very expensive in Latvia, as are all things here.
The weather has been rather springlike most of the time. In the last few days it has finally become more wintery.
I am very much excited to have my parents and sister coming in April, as I have been missing home a lot lately. Also sometimes I just wish to hear a sermon, and a service in English, and I find myself a bit blue. These moments don't last long, thank goodness, and I am happy here in my new country and life. But I want you to know I still miss America and being part of your lives there. I haven't forgotten about you just because I am on the other side of the world.
Well that is about all for today. I have two new classes here in Ogre, at an electronics company. They are beginner groups and are fun to teach.
