Wow God!

Don't you just love those days that are in my opinion, "Wow, God!" days. I had one of those today. I had been down. I am between jobs and know I should be working. It gets rather discouraging to be in that place. Plus February isn't a good time to find a teaching job.

Yesterday I had an interview at one language school. It didn't seem too promising. Then on the way home another place called me and offered me a teaching job for today. I accepted as a trial to find out about the place. It ended up to be a nice place, and they worked out a nice deal to make it worth my trip to Riga twice a week. Praise the Lord!

But that was just the beginning. While waiting around Riga, another language school called me. This time it wasn't just another school, but it was THE school, the one I had always hoped would call and never had. This is a very large language school, with more than 1,000 students, mostly children and teenagers. They have great teacher training and care. It would be an ideal place to work for continuing to grow as a teacher. It may not work out for me to work there now with the class the offered, but at least now my foot is a little bit in the door and they have offered me to try for work in the fall too. Wow God!

It was a great day all around. Thank you for your prayers. They have carried me through ever time I have felt down in the dumps.
