He is Risen

Today I stayed home another Sunday from church. It is just too difficult for me to sit for those 2+/- hours and too uncomfortable. I can barely walk if I sit for too long at one time. . . So Janis took the kids and went to church. This was the first time he has taken both kids to church without me. He said they were very good. Yay!

I played the piano and sang songs that to me are so necessary today He Arose, He Lives, Lamb of God, etc. It was a special time- just me and my Savior.

The kids were excited for to find their breakfast today- as Janis hid the eggs we had colored around the house. Our kids LOVE hard boiled eggs -we don't make them that often. They enjoyed having egg wars (hitting one another's egg to see whose is the strongest) and then we read the Easter story and used colored jelly beans to help it "sink" in (red for reminding us of Jesus' blood shed, etc).

This afternoon I went on a walk to try and "shake" this baby a little further along.

Then a friend who was just visiting Latvia from the weekend called and we went out for coffee/ice cream.

It has been a great day.

I look forward to hearing about your Easter.

Blessings!
