Thoughts on Candy
Today I was thinking about Fall and the changing seasons, and silk painting, and CANDY. It really is rather odd to have these things all run in such close order in my mind, but what is more strange is how stuck I become on thinking about candy.
I started remembering candy corn, and pumpkins, and peeps, cadbury eggs, and candy canes and all sorts of "holiday" candy. Then I started wishing, wishing I could get some of those candies here. Wishing people would send me little boxes of holiday flare from America, nothing big, or pricey, just a little "feel" of each holiday in America.
I know that seems so trivial- it is so- I completely admit to that. But somehow there is something fun about a little color in edible form representing the season. Something fun to add as a decoration to a cupcake for friends.
Ok. . so enough musing on candy. . . back to dreaming of other things- hopefully of greater importance.

I totally understand the sentimentality of this! Don't think it's trivial, dear friend. Every little memory is linked with something, and is often times sacred.
