Today is a gusty day, upon looking out the window I thought, "Whew, I am not going to want to venture outside today. It looks cold and windy." But the sun IS shining, and that is always a plus. So I ventured out onto my closed in back porch with Daniel. (He takes naps outside every day, even in winter. That is a Latvian way of doing things). By the way he LOVES sleeping outside.
Wow, this is a day that could take your breath away!
The sun is warm, and it forces me to close my eyes and bask in its glorious rays of warmth.
The wind, though gusty has the promise of spring.
The snow that fell yesterday has been blown wildly about; covering all footprints and making the yard perfect, clean, fresh.
The air glitters and sparkles with wind blown flakes of snow, catching the light and reflecting the splendor of the sun.
Glorious, what a marvelous God we have. He can make even the tiniest things beautiful and special.
Wouldn't it be fantastic to be like the simple flakes of snow, which when caught by the Son we would glitter, sparkle and awe people by the transformation God has worked in our lives.
