I and me. We and us.

As an old friend once said, "I and me shall never be. We and us together will last forever." I am learning what this mean on a new level in marriage.

In the past week I have been getting settled and continue to learn what it means to keep house. It is far more time comsuming to keep a house clean than I ever imagined. No wonder my mom is always cleaning :) I am enjoying this time of not working as I know once that starts I will not have so much time at home and so it is good time to get as settled in as possible.

It is great to see how God leads. Last week when I wrote I was feeling very confused about ministry, God has shown me some areas this week where he is using me and other opportunities for future service. Building relationships is such an important part of life and I thank God for the time he gives me to interact with youth, neighbors and friends. I pray God will use us as a light to the people around us.

Last week we had the chance to have many visitors, including pastor Elmars and his family. Here you see his wife, Gita and their daughter Alise (3).
I am enjoying serving our guests and looking forward to how God can use our home in the future.

Today one of my previous students called and asked if I am still teaching English. I have been praying and thinking about forming my new classes and God provided before I even finshed praying. Truly God is good.

I feel so blessed. I have a special husband. I have a home to care for and dream in. I have a garden that when spring comes will be lovely and lots of work:) I am surrounded by friends who want to help me and make me fit in. I have all I need and more. I have an oven and can cook for my husband- I love cooking and having my food enjoyed.

Truly God is good.

In His Bountiful Love,

Elizabeth & Jānis
